ZONDAG 25 SEPTEMBER, FINISSAGE

Het is een bijzonder glansrijk seizoen geweest bij DordtYart. De hal is omgetoverd tot een waar glaspaleis met de mooiste werken uit de collectie van Adriano Berengo. Kunstenaars Folkert de Jong, Giny Vos, Rosella Biscotti en Zoro Feigl reisden af naar Murano om nieuwe werken te maken in samenwerking met de maestro’s van de Berengo Studio’s.

In de hal is veel gewerkt aan de tijdelijk geplaatste glasovens. Zo werd er bijvoorbeeld geëxperimenteerd tijdens het LAB programma door kunstenaars Peter Vink, Conny Groenewegen en Studio Drift. Ook groeide de installatie van Koen Vanmechelen; nieuwe zaden, planten en zwammen werden geblazen, getrokken en gegoten door verschillende kunstenaars bij de ovens in de hal.

Aanstaande zondag 25 september is de laatste dag van de tentoonstelling en daarmee de laatste dag van het seizoen bij DordtYart. Op deze bijzondere dag zijn natuurlijk de werken in de hal te bekijken en kunt u presentaties van Folkert de Jong en Studio Drift bijwonen. We sluiten af met een feestelijke borrel.

ZATERDAG 24 SEPTEMBER: GLASBLAZERS AAN DE OVENS BIJ DORDTYART

Tijdens het laatste weekend van dit seizoen zijn op zaterdag 24 sept van 11.00 - 16.00 uur glasblazers Josja Caecilia Schepman, Marinke van Zandwijk en Geir Nustad door de Vrienden Van Modern Glas uitgenodigd om samen met Han de Kluijver de installatie van Koen Vanmechelen verder in glas te verduurzamen. Kom kijken naar deze laatste dagen bij de glasovens in DordtYart.

1495 unieke glasblokjes geplaatst

Heeft u het werk van Peter Vink al helemaal af gezien? Even geleden legde Peter Vink de laatste hand aan zijn kunstwerk, bestaande uit 1495 unieke glasblokjes, geplaatst in een verzinkt stalen rooster van 7 bij 2,5 meter. Deze blokjes zijn allemaal gegoten hier bij de glasovens in DordtYart. Kom het werk bekijken tijdens deze laatste week GlassFever!

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 25, FINISSAGE

It has been a beautiful season at DordtYart. The hall has been transformed into a glass palace with the finest works from the collection of Adriano Berengo. Artists Folkert de Jong, Giny Vos, Rosella Biscotti and Zoro Feigl traveled to Murano to create new work in collaboration with the maestros of the Berengo Studio's. It was great to be able to give these artists the chance to learn about the versatility of glass and to follow their journey closely.
Artists worked at the temporarily placed glass furnaces in the hall. For instance, the experiments during the LAB program by artists Peter Vink, Conny Groenewegen and Studio Drift. The installation of Koen Vanmechelen grew; new seeds, plants and mushrooms were blown, drawn and molded by various artists at the furnaces in the hall.

This Sunday, September 25th is the last day of the exhibition and the final day of the season at DordtYart. On this special day, you ofcrouse can experiance and see the artworks in the hall and you can attend the presentations by artists Folkert de Jong and Studio Drift.

SATURDAY SEPT 24: GLASSBLOWERS AT THE FURNACEs

During the last weekend at DordtYart, on Saturday 24th September from 11.00- 16.00 hrs, different artists are invited by Vrienden Van Modern Glas (Friends of Modern Glass) to work at the furnaces. Glassblowers Josja Caecilia Schepman, Marinke van Zandwijk and Geir Nustad will work together with Han de Kluijver on the last objects for the installation by Koen Vanmechelen.

1495 unique glass cubes PLACED

Did you already see the work of Peter Vink finished? A few weeks ago Peter Vink completed his art work, consisting of 1495 unique glass casts, placed in a steel grid of 7 by 2,5 meters. These casts are all made at the furnaces in DordtYart. Come over to have a look at this art piece during the last week of GlassFever!
